The Henley Group International was established in 1982 in order to provide press, public relations and marketing support to large corporations and multi-national companies. The Henley Group initially promoted information technology and office equipment solutions including printers, copiers, facsimile, PCs and networked computing and satellite, radio and mobile communications. Early clients included Nashua, Muirhead Office Systems, Motorola, NEC and Mita. At the same time, alongside the growth in information technology and office equipment, the Henley Group developed experience in promoting technologically advanced industrial products ranging from telemetry systems and electrical components to petrochemical additives and environmental control technologies. Significant industrial clients have included household names such as Smiths Industries, 3M and Siemens. As client requirements grew, so the Henley Group introduced dedicated divisions in order to provide specialist expertise in additional marketing services including advertising, print and design and special events. Traditionally, the Henley Group has maintained lengthy relationships with its clients and currently counts a number of companies who have depended on the Henley Group's services for periods of over thirteen years.
