Henley Special Events has extensive experience in creating bespoke events to meet a client's specific and exacting needs.

Bespoke events have distinct advantages in allowing clients unprecedented control over their events and enabling them to maximise contact with their target audiences.

In the past, Henley Special Events has organised a variety of exclusive events on behalf of clients including summer balls and parties for client staff, product workshop weekends for key purchasers and client customers and Board of Directors Visits and VIP entertainment events.

Bespoke events afford privacy and exclusivity as facilities are taken for the client's sole use. Henley Special Events oversees every aspect of the construction of the site - from the installation of marquees and catering facilities to the provision of power, plumbing, audio visual equipment and security personnel.


SUMMER BALLS

Through close contacts with various venues, Henley Special Events offers clients the option of staging a stunning summer ball. Indeed, it is increasingly the case that some clients - who have in the past held a Christmas dinner dance - now hold a summer event instead, much to the delight of their guests!

A spectacular location is essential to the event and creates a very special evening, without either the inevitable restrictions or monotony of a hotel location. One such location is a splendid marquee on the banks of the River Thames at Henley.

Henley Special Events enjoys a very close relationship with Henley Royal Regatta and this unique facility is available from late June through to late July each year. The luncheon marquee within the Stewards' Enclosure in the grounds of the Henley Royal Regatta is transformed into an original summer venue: guests dance the night away as the River Thames reflects festive wall drapes, unusual lighting effects and abundant floral decorations.

Menus can encompass a simple buffet or a full silver-service banquet with breakfast served in the early hours. Entertainment can include a 10 piece band providing first-class dance music, a special effects discotheque, a themed cabaret, table magic, silhouette cutters and a mind-blowing fireworks display.

With creative decoration, the size of the marquee can be adapted to suit smaller groups of 350 or large events of up to 950 guests. Overnight hotel accommodation, taxis and coaches can also be organised for those guests who do not wish to drive.

BESPOKE EVENTS IN SCOTLAND

Henley Special Events has great experience of sourcing stunning venues and sporting activities available to small groups of 6-20 participants in various parts of Scotland. This type of promotion is particularly suited to high-level executives, where there is a requirement for a tranquil location to hold meetings or presentations, combined with the opportunity to participate in specially selected events.

One of Henley Special Events’ favourite venues is a private estate named Kinnaird, situated 22 miles north of Perth - almost equidistant from Edinburgh and Glasgow - on the River Tay. The house is surrounded by a beautiful estate of 9,000 acres with breathtaking views of the moors and the Tay Valley.

There are nine bedrooms in the main house with several cottages situated around the estate, making it an ideal venue for small corporate or VIP sporting parties. The house can be hired on on an exclusive basis and the details tailor-made to your exact requirements.

A wide variety of sporting activities can be arranged, from salmon and trout fishing and superb pheasant shooting, to falconry, horseriding, clay shooting, golf, visits to local whisky distilleries, castles and shopping excursions.

Henley Special Events also has many years' experience in organising programmes to various European destinations, ranging from day trips chartering private aircraft to high profile sales meetings and product launches.

The division has excellent relationships with land agents based in France, Italy and Germany, with whom Henley Special Events liaises closely on all aspects of a promotion. Henley Special Events also has good contacts for chartering private aircraft, employing professional guides and securing special arrangements with exclusive hotels.

A favourite venue in France is Chateau d'Esclimont, situated 20 miles south of Paris. A stunning chateau, the property is easily reached by a short helicopter ride from the centre of Paris, following the River Seine out of the capital and landing on the lawns leading directly up to the impressive entrance.

The venue itself is very versatile, making it an ideal place to hold simultaneous business meetings and product launches, combined with hospitality activities such as hot air ballooning, helicopter rides and themed dinners. It also has very comfortable, 5 star quality accommodation and a wonderful dining room serving superb French cuisine.

VIP VISITS

Visits by VIP delegates and Board of Directors meetings can form the basis of the exclusive use of a venue such as Cliveden, the former Astor home in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.

Henley Special Events has arranged the exclusive use of venues such as Cliveden which provide an ideal base for visiting VIP delegates as meeting facilities are available for those who require them, whilst a programme of sightseeing trips with Blue Badge tour guides, together with escorted shopping trips and entertainments, can be organised to keep guests and partners occupied.


 

THEATRE OUTINGS

For smaller groups of key customers and clients, a trip to a top London theatre production makes for a very enjoyable evening. Through extensive theatre contacts, Henley Special Events can offer the best seats at top, often sold out London shows such as Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and private boxes at The Royal Albert Hall.

A VIP evening can be easily and swiftly arranged - featuring a separate private room where pre-show champagne and canapés are served together with further refreshments during the interval. A personal usher is provided to show clients to and from their seats and guests also benefit from private toilet facilities. As well as souvenir programmes of the performance, gifts can be arranged for all guests to take away with them as a reminder of a very special evening.

In addition, Henley Special Events will organise door-to-door limousine transport so guests do not have to worry about driving themselves, a pre-theatre dinner at a selected restaurant and even an overnight stay in London, if desired.
